When not out exploring Sossusvlei or the surrounding Namib Desert there are planty of places to relax at Namib Desert Lodge, either outside your room on your own private verada or at one of the communal areas, perhaps enjoying a dring on a sun lounger next to one of the sparkeling cold water pools, perfect for a dip to cool down in the hot summer months, or enjoy an aparetif at the bar before dining in the restaurant.

There are 66 guest rooms at Namib Desert Lodge, most of which are twin rooms (rooms sleeping 2 adults in 2 single beds). There are also a limited number of family rooms and triple rooms for those travelling with children, early booking is advaised to ensure availability in one of these rooms.

Gues rooms have air-conditioning and heating and an en-suite bathroom with shower with basic toiletries provided. Guests can make a tea or coffee in their roomto enjoy while relaxing on their own veranda to enjoy the desert views. Other room amenities include a safe, hiardryer and an umbrella which can help protect against the desert sun as well as the rare instances of desert rain.

Breakfast, which is included in the room prices, is served in the Namit Desert Lodge restaurant, and the bar an restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner. When not exploring the nearby Sossusvle dunes or the surrounding Namib Desert on the lodge property guests can also stay cool at one of th two cold water swimming pools at the lodge or browse for souvenirs in the curio shop. Limited wi-fi is available at the reception area, as well as secure parking..
